The two time Tony Award winning hit musical, Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT, based on the Grammy Award Winning multi-platinum album of the same name, boldly takes the American musical where it has never gone before. This high octane rock opera that took the world by storm includes every song from Green Day's album, American Idiot, and several songs from the album 21st Century Breakdown.
AMERICAN IDIOT tells the story of group of suburban youths living unhappily in «Jingletown, USA,» saturated with TV and fed up with the state of the union as they deal with modern day issues, growing up and finding meaning in their lives and the world around them.
“AMERICAN IDIOT” runs July 7-30, 2017, Fridays & Saturdays: 7:30 PM, Sundays: 2:00 PM at the MTS Center for Theatre.
