Sometimes, no matter how much meditation we have done, we may still be still haunted by familiar, persistent, difficult emotions.
How can we work with our emotions instead of struggling against them?
We may experience emotions such as fear, anger, or lethargy as obstacles—and for good reason. In Karuna Training, we learn powerful practices to relate directly with such emotions to uncover the tremendous wisdom at their essence.
Karuna is the Sanskrit word meaning compassion. Drawn from the Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist view that difficult emotions are gateways to intelligence and enlightenment, this course of training reveals the potency of leading our lives with an open heart. Karuna Training takes us to the heart of trusting what we feel and to exploring those energies for wisdom.
This stand-alone class has no prerequisites, and all are welcome.
