Building on the dream

We invite you to participate in our MLK day of service on Jan 15th from 9am-3pm!

This year Rocky Mountain Youth Corps has teamed up with First Choice Community Health campus to coordinate a day of service at the newly developing Health & Wellness Campus in the South Valley here in Albuquerque! Some of the plans for this campus include constructing a green house, two hoop houses, and a green oasis area for the public to enjoy and reconnect with nature.

Our service day project will be trail work, invasive plant and weed removal, and trash pick up on the green oasis space project! We have hard hats, gloves and some eye protection to provide you but if you would like to bring you own that would be great too.

There will also be community outreach booths, children's activities, and free food and beverages.

This is a day of service and community building for the South Valley. We invite you to help build our vision of community health and wellness, food security, environmental awareness and community service.
